CETAMADA association
The humpback whale is still a vulnerable species. Some international lobbies would like to hunt it again. The tourist observation of the whales is an economic alternative to hunt and thus constitute an argument for the protection of these cetaceans. The CETAMADA association actively works with the HSM group so that the observation of the Megapteras is done in the best possible conditions for the whales. Systematically, some ecovolunteers come with our customers for the Whales safaris. The CETAMADA Association also works for the scientific research, notably by the identification of the individuals. Thus, our customers' photos allow to fill up world data bases.

Organisation for protection of sea turtles IOSEA
Populations of the six species of sea turtles in the Indian Ocean region are registered as vulnerable, threatened of extinction or seriously threatened of extinction on the UICN (World Union for the nature) Red List of the threatened species. Yet, local populations traditionally hunt this animal for its flesh, its scales and its eggs. The sea turtles are especially vulnerable during the punter. Our group of hotels would wish to preserve the beach of the Cocoteraie Resort hotel where turtles regularly come to lay, particularly in creating the Fund for the Remuneration of the Punter Guards (FRPG) permitting the villager community to find in the surveillance, the observation and the protection of turtles' punters and hatching alternative incomes to their hunt.
