Terms of sale 1. Reservation To ratify your reservation you must pay a deposit which is calculated in percentage of the amount of the service you have reserved and nonrefundable. The rate is 50% of the accomodation. In some particular cases (packages, special promotions) the deposit could be brought up to 100% of the total amount of service. Bookings and cancellations will be by fax, email or mail to the Agency with the following coordinates and will have to be followed by a written confirmation from STHSM. Tickets reservations of maritime and air or terrestrial lines that we propose are carried out by travel agencies and are subject to their terms of sale. 2. Payment Deposits will be paid at our office in Antananarivo or by credit transfer at least 30 days before the guest's arrival. Otherwise, a confirmed reservation could be considered as null and consequently removed from planning without notice. Transfer: the principal will pay the expenses. A copy of the transfer order (with seal and signature) is to be sent by fax at + (261 20) 22 640 54. The name of the guest must be the same as the one in the reservation.
3. Cancellation STHSM reserves the right to require a deposit if cancellation occurs less than 30 days before arrival, and the total amount of accomodation if after the day before arrival.4. Rates Our 2008 rates apply from november 01st, 2007 till october 31st, 2008. HSM Group reserves the right to modify its public rates at any time if the costs of transportation change, particularly because of fuel's price, royalties and taxes related to services (such as tourist taxes) and rate of exchange. Prices are in Ariary based on an exchange rate of 2,700 Ariary to a Euro. There is no refunding for services reserved but not used on site (transfers, excursions, accomodation). Additional or substitute services generating an overcost must be paid on site. Where a combination of stays at hotels in the group gives a right to a free night, the cheapest night will be considered free. The half board (breakfast and diner) is obligatory 5. Liabilities STHSM will not be liable for the consequences of the following events:

The user commits himself to respect the exclusive jurisdiction of Madagascar's courts for any issue or litigation ensuing from the use of this site and the present agreement. Risks inherent to some free activities (swimming pool, use of the pontoon, pedal boats, tennis, etc...) as well as other free traditional activities (trekking, swimming, dugout, cart, naturalism, excursion, etc...) will be borne by the guest even if they are publicised and/or accompanied by HSM group. This liability limitation does not apply whenever the jurisdiction in force does not allow it. Due to unforeseeable changes which may affect excursions and trekkings, the programs we propose are indicative and can be modified and/or cancelled without prior notice. 6. Complaints Any dispute should be as far as possible settled on the spot. In case of absolute necessity and without foreseeing a possible resort, complaints should be made during the stay and before departure, and addressed to the resident manager or the liaison office.
